The Luxury & Retail Club hosts a variety of events throughout the calendar year focused on building a strong community of students, faculty, and industry professionals to promote and facilitate engaging conversations, debate, and shared learning experiences. Events are also a forum for students to learn more about the fashion, luxury, and retail industries both from each other and from industry insiders. Annual Events
Conference | During the fall semester, the Luxury & Retail Club hosts its flagship conference. This event brings together students, alumni, and top professionals in the luxury and retail spaces and provides a forum for exploring current topics in these industries. Knowledge Management Series | During Knowledge Management sessions, students share their experiences in and knowledge of the luxury and retail sectors. Alumni also offer insight into their roles and companies. Knowledge Management sessions are held throughout the school year.
Corporate Presentations | Club leaders work with the Office of Career Development to develop recruiting opportunities on campus.
Fireside Chats | Conversations with leading figures in the luxury and retail industries enable students to broaden their knowledge and expertise.
Company Visits | Visits to luxury and retail companies over the course of the year offer a behind-the-scenes look as to how these firms operate as well as provide valuable networking opportunities for internships and full-time positions.
Inter-Club Social Events | The Luxury & Retail Club partners with other Stern clubs, such as the Graduate Marketing Association (GMA), to give students the opportunity to network and connect on cross-club topics in a social setting.
